    Don't you find the regular JSA appointments disturb such a serene existence?

      Hmm..

      £20 a day == £100 a week == ~£400 per month == ~£4800 per year == ~£48000 a decade == ~£250,000 more cash over the course of your working life...

      Not such a small amount now, is it?

        Shame about that horrible tax thing that changes things hey...

        But you are replying to a guy that thinks 75 quid a week helps when he's not in a gig so it's a point well made.

              Once very two weeks, takes 5 mins. They get a bit funny if you're late though.

                Since we're doing this then.

                £75 a week = 75*52/12 = £325 a month. Three months on the bench = £975 = Mortgage payments for x months.

                Simples...

                    £75 a week = 75*52/12 = £325 a month. Three months on the bench = £975 = Payment towards my expensive holiday.

                      OK maybe. Perhaps I should say money to pay my mortgage which can instead pay for my holiday maybe

                      But nope still dont feel guilty about claiming. Thought I felt a twinge for a moment but it was nothing....
