So my bro was telling me about his HL SIPP and Self Invest ISA. He reckons the service is really good and worth the .45% annual fee. Yes, I know there are slightly cheaper ISAs out there but anyone agree the HL service and web resources are worth it?

I checked out all the charges and the dealing fees aren't so bad esp if you are trading frequently.

Didn't HL come out as one of the most expensive providers unless you are investing a big amount? I seem to remember seeing a comparison chart and they were outshone by a lot of other providers up to a certain level of investment.

EDIT : Found the table I was thinking about and A) actually I got it the wrong way around. HL were better for small amounts... B) this is for pensions so might not be any use whatsoever but here it is anyway..

Yes but I think I read that their charges are down now.. .5% pa capped at £45 but it's more the service and resources I am interested in - it's easy to compare charges and rates, I just ask the Meerkat.

Any rate if you can afford to invest £50 pa isn't even a concern tbh

Following your edit it's only ISA i am interested in atm SIPP is another problem for another day lol
