**** **** ******* ****!

<------------------- :smokin

We got very expensive IT contractor on site today :emb

Talking about City level rates in Brum! :eek

Dont tell me, he is spending all his time on CUK calling you names :happy

His work does not require him to have Internet connection...

Oh and you'll love this bit - it's expensive but at least it's direct. :wink

Moving into new office later this month 50% bigger in size but since it's split out from office taking half the floor that means we'll have to pay business rates on the whole thing for a bit :mad

******* lazy VOSA knuts, but we can handle it :smokin

If there is a physical partition between the part of the office you're using and the part you're not using then you only have to pay rates on the bit you are using.

ftfy :wink

Actually the work I was doing there was submitting appeals on business rates, there had been some sort of rule change allowing companies to back date their appeals by several years but there was a deadline for these submissions.

There was a mini boom in the surveyors market whilst various companies, including the one I was temping at, were offering surveys and appeal submission and only collecting fees in the cases where the appeal was sucessful.
