Sadly no, just really like that quote. It is a nice maxim to live by. He shared a few.
Yes but its unusual, most is more depressing.

I was more aiming at pointless wokeism which will fix nothing but chew itself up in the gnashing of self.
I really don't know what that sentence means or who it's aimed at.
Well it's not particularly aimed at anybody or anything, suppose I'm just musing 'out loud', had some not great results yesterday and trying to accept them and place them in the grand scheme. Of which I'm sure there's none, so its the tension to what we want to believe and the reality that presents itself. In some ways I wish I was religious, would be easier maybe, but then again I don't know, again the tension, we know feck all really.

Give it a go. You can always give it up if it doesn't work.In some ways I wish I was religious

“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”

“Begin each day by telling yourself: Today I shall be meeting with interference, ingratitude, insolence, disloyalty, ill-will, and selfishness – all of them due to the offenders’ ignorance of what is good or evil.”

Cheerful.
