Broken

good to see the Beeb exploring & publicising it.

As I understand it they call it a spectrum because everyone is on it to some extent. We are all broken, some just get stuck at the wrong end of the wedge.

We have relatives with ADHD, it was a challenge but they grew out of it a bit with lots of help. We also adjusted our behaviour as well. They are a joy now, just different.

I hope you get through it!

One of mf’s children has been diagnosed austistic and been asked to leave the school he was in and go to a more “suitable” school

Thanks - a friend is going through a similar experience except the child has epilepsy. Don't understand how this segregation helps.

In high school up in the north west coast my English class was divided between catholic and protestant students. For the life of me I cannot think why that should of occurred let alone allowed. Hate was the only result.

Our local school here brings in special teachers for students that require extra assistance rather than sending them elsewhere. As their prospectus puts it 'catering for a diverse group which reflects our society', or so is my translation.
