Risk Management Software

I've been looking at a few Risk Management software packages, most of them seem much of a muchness although pricing seems to deliver widely from Free to extortionate. Its not for a particularly big application, but does need to be scalable. Anybody have any recommendations on which packages are good, which to avoid etc Also needs to be straightforward to use, dont need it over complex at this point.

Any thoughts or input would be welcome, and I will investigate them further. Thanks in advance.

What does risk management software do?

Is it just a risk register with some pretty graphs? The rest of us are managing within a PM tool or just in excel or lists in sharepoint.
