    Dos

Decided to set the thing on my new ADSL modem that emails me if anyone attempts to hijack my PC. Now I get lots of emails informing me of a DOS. I have run Spyware/virus checkers.

    UDP Packet - Source:134.114.100.56,45604 Destination:84.12.184.156,1029 - [DOS]

Checked the source IP addresses, some are from my broadband provider, some are not found, while others are from what seem to be bona-fide US companies or organisations, including one from Northern Arizona University. Any idea what these messages are about? Cheers.

PS Could the CIA be after me?

My ADSL router (a NetGear) thinks that Bit Torrent UDP packets (for the distributed database functionality) are DOS attacks.
