Ah the first one. They were the best keyboards ever IMO. Would hate to work in an office full of them going at it though lol....

Fan of the mechanical keyboard here as well BTW.

It's the one digit that doesn't get used if you touchtype.

I use my left thumb to hit the spacebar.

Every keyboard I use has a shiny patch on the spacebar where my right thumb either rests or hits it.
I'm a pretty fast typist but yeah I'm probably doing it all wrong.

I did think about getting a Dvorak keyboard but then I could imagine going to a clients site and not being able to type on a conventional keyboard.

I've found that when I've used German & French keyboards long term. I'd go back to a QWERTY and the for first 10 minutes or so I'd get letters transposed.

I don't touch type either, at least I never learned to, I've just been typing so long I know where all the keys are. I suspect a lot of the home computer generation are like that.

Those keyboards with the letters on the front would work wonder for the wife. Her typing style removes the lettering off the keys in no time. I got her a new Logitech and letters gone after six months.

Some of these remind me the old Norton 102 keyboard I had in the 80's. That thing was loud!

Why do people change the wasd keys for different coloured ones?

                  I have the Das III

I love it, bought from US via ebay for 75 notes as from Germany it's 120.

                  Worth every penny.
