Can anyone recommend a decent VPS provider? I was using Tagadab for a bit but was wondering if there are better ones.

What problems are you having with them? I have one little VPS with them and it has been OK. What kind of spec and price point are you looking for? Memset are worth a look as well.Comment

No real problems although it's the only one I've ever used so I've nothing to compare it to.Originally posted by administrator View PostWhat problems are you having with them? I did find that things seemed to slow down at various times of the day and I was surprised at the huge number of attempts being made to hack into my server which caused some concerns but I'm guessing that this is probably going to be typical opportunistic twats hitting the full range of ip addresses in the hope of getting in.
Essentially I want to run two apps that communicate with each other, one of which will be making several data requests every second to a server in Ireland. So I want a fast connection and as high performance as possible as the app is quiet process heavy. Disk space is not important as I'm not storing any significant amounts of data.
Price would preferably be as cheap as possible but willing to pay the right price for the right service.Comment

I use OpenVZ, Xen and KVM VPS Hosting since 2008 - ValueVPS
I have several forums and two charity websites. Two of the forums are really popular. Costing is perfect and their support is second to noneComment
