Dell Vostro - I've got a 14" version - very nice. Though not sure if you can get ssd with it. Perhaps their higher end models come with a hybrid drive.McCoy: "Medical men are trained in logic."

I have a Lenovo T420s (latest model is now T430s) with 120GB SSD however I removed the optical drive and put in a crucial M4 256 SSD. Also added another 4GB RAM. Got a few SQL2008 VMs running, it does the job.
What's your budget? Alienware?

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

I have a Dell latitude E6520 with an 128mb ssd disk added to it. Between that and an 1080p screen it was a decent laptop but I must remember to photography it and throw it on the bay.Originally posted by quackhandle View PostI have a Lenovo T420s (latest model is now T430s) with 120GB SSD however I removed the optical drive and put in a crucial M4 256 SSD.
