A word of warning, I've got a 24" inch imac from a couple of years back.
It is a marvellous looking machine, but it's been prone to hard drive failure, once under warranty, once not. The second time was probably my fault - it got moved whilst it was on.
In usage though, I can't fault it

I have an early 24" iMac, Oct 2007 I think, to be honest, zero issues, replaced the HDD twice purely to increase capacity, 2TB now, typing on it now.Comment
