Ollocks!
You don't get any options during the install - not even a cancel button.
You have been warned! -
Yes looks like it's overwritten/removed IE8.
It's okay, but I'm missing the search toolbar. Maybe there's a way of getting it back. Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

I have about half a dozen sites which only work with IE (I use Opera as my default browser) so, as long as they continue to work I should be OK.Originally posted by VectraMan View PostYes looks like it's overwritten/removed IE8.

Failing that, I need to format/re-install my software anyway.Comment

Nice one Nick.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostFor those who want to get rid of it: How to Uninstall Internet Explorer 9 Beta

Had to un-install as I suspect, ironically, it isn't compatible with the MS Partner Network website.

FWIW I'm now mostly using Firefox 4, which has a nicer interface (with the search box). However, it doesn't seem to like animated GIFs very much. This page (with all those smilies down the right) absolutely crawls and makes my laptop's fan cut in because of the high CPU usage.
