    Lovely People

    Anyone had any good overviews on ITSM Infrasructure Monitoring [and strategy]

    I really cant be asked to get the full downloads as I dont need the rest of the other crap

    Thought Id ask my fellow bredrens!!

    Do you mean the (old) orange ICT Infrastructure Management book?

      Sorry that may have been my fault

      In the new V3 ITIL isnt there a peice that covers off Monitoring from a Service perspective and key components of the infrastructure to consider etc?

      Im sure I read this.

        Oh right.

        Yes, it's in Service Operation, in the section 'Common Service Operation activities'.

        Don't think it'll be of much use to you if you view the underpinning information in the book 'the rest of the other crap', however.

        It just part of the whole, you see.
