    Upgrading software

Hello again chaps (incl. Lady Muck - newest regular) ,

As you might of guessed, I've just ordered a new PC (avoiding Dell and going with Vantage from Overclockers.co.uk - very nice people...) and am reviewing all of my software.

Now I've noticed from the Outlook question that Norton is giving grief and so I'm looking at dumping the AV bit and using F-Secure instead.

The question is: is it still worth keeping Norton System Works? Are these utility/hygene programs more trouble than they're worth or is there a good one I should look at?

    All suggestions gratefully received...

I don't know what happens to my grammar when I get onto a message board, it's ok when I write proper...

I had Norton packaged with my lap top. I very quickly dumped that and got McAfee instead.
Do you think people who pack the confectionary into boxes at fudge making factories tell people what they do for a living?
