    c++ and java interview questions

    I usually find that interview questions rarely have anything to do with the skills required while doing the job(particularly in investment banks).

    Does anyone have any good sites (or recommend any good books) for c++ and/or java interview questions?

    I am actually thinking of buying the brainbench tutorials - has anyone bought them? Any advice?

    Thanks

      What is Spoon Feeding?

      dictionary.com defines it as follows:
      spoon-feed (spnfd)
      tr.v. spoon-·fed, (-fd) spoon-·feed·ing, spoon-·feeds

      1. To feed (another) with a spoon.
      2. To treat (another) in a way that discourages independent thought or action, as by overindulgence.
      3. .
      1. To provide (another) with knowledge or information in an oversimplified way.
      2. To provide (knowledge or information) in an oversimplified way.

        C++ interview questions are all about doing stuff with strings, or bit-shifting, or ideally both.

        Knowing a few design patterns goes a long way too.
