Can anyone recommend a free / open source PDF editor I can download from somewhere? (not Abode - I wouldn't be asking obviously).

pdf995. I 've used it in conjunction with MS Word to create quite complex documents and that included indexes, tables of contents, inline images, you name it, and PDF995 converted them to PDF format without a hitch.
Edit: The above comment relates specifically to creating new PDF documents (from other file formats), I’ve not used it to edit existing PDF documents, for example with PdfEdit995.Last edited by TimberWolf; 13 January 2008, 22:35. -
