    iMAC question

    My iMAC is extremely slow when browsing the internet on both Safari and Firefox.

    Doesnt matter if using wireless or wired internet connection........

    Any ideas?

        Try turning off any IPv6 networking stuff : System Preferences -> "your connection" -> Configure -> TCP/IP -> Configure IPv6 -> Turn it off

        Some routers don't play well if you have it enabled - which it is by default on a Mac.

          You need to clear out all the .flv files in your cache.

              I recall doing this when I installed Leopard.

                    I did an upgrade on the iMac and a clean install on the Mini.

                    I think I did the reset in the iMac which was the upgrade.
