    Simple Perl question

Does or can straight Perl code (without i/face to ext. db engine) acquire access to milli seconds or nano seconds ?

If so, how ? Or maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

      Thanks Reynolds.

I'd seen the Time::HiRes module as well but was put off by having to download and uncompress a .gz file (my 'stuffit' has expired) and install a CPAN module. (Never done that before).

All that just to get the poxy time inclusive of millseconds. Don't take any notice of me I'm just in a wingy mood 'cos of it.

      Thanks again for the link.
