Any recommendations for a Mac (Intel - which rules out NVu)?

I've got an Intel Mac and it runs NVu fine (Tiger has the Rosetta subsystem so non-universal binaries will still run).

Looking at this thread you need to upgrade to 10.4.7 - http://forum.nvudev.org/viewtopic.php?t=3721&
