    Web authoring tool

Looking to build a basic web site for my professional activities (business analysis and QA skills for finance industry) - what authoring tool or package would be suitable?

Whilst I'm not a web expert I have technical skills but would prefer some sort of authoring tool.

Nothing fancy, just looking to create a clean, simple website with a list of projects and skills I've worked on. Sometimes, you can't put everything into a CV so thought this would be a good way to showcase what I've worked on for the past 15 years.

Thanks all, look forward to the suggestions. Especially if you have used a tool for your own website.

FTFY to a list of actual requirements. You can tell that you are a BA in the finance industry with the added waffle you added to what is a simple request.

And with the above criteria either visit wordpress.com and create your website there or find a web hosting company and install wordpress on a cheap package..
merely at clientco for the entertainment

        Thanks for the simplification!

Anyone got any examples of Wordpress on their company website, wouldn't mind seeing what a finished site could look like.

Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

I know I really shouldn't but Benger Blog | Anyway, about me is a decent example of a nice design. The template seems to cost $43 or so but peanuts in the scheme of things.

This is a friend's site, for the part of his photography business that specialises in architectural photography: UK Architectural Photography | Architecture photography for the UK

All WordPress, all the way; and he strongly dislikes coding, so it's a theme he bought for about $50, and all the content done through WordPress's built-in admin.
