It's also the case that different people are being asked for different amounts for this APN grievance "request" invoice. A mate was asked for £600. I was asked for £840 (£700 + VAT).- xtal

If hmrc were to relent on the 05/06 and earlier years, presumably this would just mean that APN's weren't applicable / enforceable for these years? But the years in question would still be owed according to hmrc as per suspended on account amounts / original CN's?- xtal

Anybody else having problems with the TAA NTRT email addresses ? Trying to reply to Nigel / Trevor at their addresses but getting bounce backs / time out to an aol address and various spamassaasin mail delivery failure messages.- xtal

Thanks for the advice. For sure it's got to be a balls up, I done nothing different to the ctd I bought in 2008. No doubt they will claim to have not got letter or some nonsense. Will call CTD dept. and see what they say.- xtal

Anyone had recent problems receiving CTD's ? I paid by chaps and sent the letter off on the 24th of February and still not had the CTD. However I received a self assessment statement saying I'd over paid xx,xxx (the amount of the CTD I made). Is this likely to be backlog / resource related or...- xtal

I don't think for one second that HMRC don't know who has and who hasn't got CTD's. If you believe otherwise it's up to you. If HMRC didn't know who had CTD's, threads like this and the myriad that preceded it would have got them to look into it further. In the grand scheme of things it makes...- xtal
