Yip...that sounds about right.
I'm on the last week of an 18 monther and I'm finding it hard to keep on task. To make things worse...I'm in Milton Keynes.
Now where did I put that hot water bottle?
It's not snowing in Milton Keynes...it's just really grey and depressing.
p.s. If we get this thread to 1000 posts, does the server blow up or something? :bang:
If your validating addresses etc at point of entry then I still think Quick Address is your best answer as you can check against the electoral role in real time as well as having a batch option for cleansing large datasets.
We used it at News Int for cleansing about 20 million addresses and it...
Quick address PAF is what we always used, but we did a lot of turd polishing before offering the file to PAF. How are you getting your addresses, if they're keyed then you'll also need to do stuff like swear checks etc.
p.s. Be carefull you do your swearchecks carefully or people in Scunthorpe...
That's what they do at Abbey, I went from 35 hours a week, to 5 'professional days' a week....basically holding you there over the core hours regardless of how many hours worked.
Not nice....too much like a permy.

Well that's cleared that up then.
Noticed that further into the contract it states 28 days either way, so the bit at the begining of the contract didn't really matter.
Cheers chaps
p.s. I signed the contract...the dosh was good and...
Ir35
Ir35
The agency have said that this clause is in there to make it more IR35 friendly from the contractors point of view as notice periods are indicitive of employment....Does this hold water?
Just got a contract through from Network IT.
Under 'Notice Period' it reads...
...Network IT Recruitment shall give the service provider 10 working days notice of termination. The service provider may not give notice and is obliged to work the full term of the contract
Is this...
Thanks, I appreciate the interest.
p.s. I forgot to mention...you can also schedule ETL jobs with it and call Data Monkey jobs from the command line so you can use it as the basis for data transfer within your own apps. (just thought I'd mention :o )
