Well, I put the first letter in the bin, I received a second one a month later to which I replied that I am not going to pay them anything and if they insist on this I will compain to their regulator about the unclear clause. Well, £350 is not a huge amount, no, but I do not think I should pay it. Best business bank account
I am with HSBC. Very good internet and telephone banking. I was about to switch to Alliance & Leicester last month as HSBC's bank account offers 2.52% interest rate but HSBC has just launced a business deposit account of 4.58% and that kept me with them I am currently on an 18 month free...- malandri

Windows Update
I am indeed. But I think that my problem is that Microsoft is not supporting Windows ME any more. I can not access updates (even if I could some months ago). I can access everything using my XP laptop but with my old ME laptop things are different. Installing Windows ME again didn't help... -

Ripped off
The labour was another 15 pounds. He didn't install any software, I am doing that. In total I paid 94. He did it in front of me, took him 20 min to manage to get to the disk. Indeed, laptops are hard to open I think I should follow DimPrawns advice and forget about it. Had a bad day today... -

Ripped off
Hello all, Just came back from a computer shop where I had my old laptop's hard disk replaced. I paid £79 pounds for the disk and £15 for the work. £79 pounds for a 40GB hard disk (hitachi HTS424040M9AT00) did sound excessive, but I have lost contact with the market really as I haven't needed... -

Hello all, Was caught speeding on an A road, doing 53 with the limit 40. I got the "Notice of Intended Prosecution" and the matter went to court where I was given 3 points and £50 pounds fine. I paid the fine and sent my license for the points to be added, however, I received my license back...- malandri

Taking 2 weeks out in the middle of a 6 month contract
I started my first contract with a client in November last year. 3 months later, after the first renewal, I told them that I will need to be off all July as I am getting married abroad + honeymoon. They didn't have any issue at all. Just got my second renewal till end of September... Just ask...- malandri

I have seen the ICICI bank as well, 5.15% . On the net, you will hear various comments about them, but they do have a good rate and they are FSA regulated- malandri
