Sorry for your loss. I can highly recommend my accountant Martin at Contratax - Expert Accountants for Contractors. He stepped up and helped me during a difficult time and has since been my accountant. All services including year end and SA are covered in their fees.
Best of luck,
Houman K.
Hi Sue,
Thank you for your reply. The company was incorporated on 11 July 2013.
The official final dormancy was actually filed on:
31 Aug 2016 Accounts for a dormant company made up to 31 July 2016
I have suggested to dissolve it but he says dissolving requires 75% shareholder approval...
Hello,
A friend of mine and myself have registered a limited company around 4 years ago. We created an app, that didn't particularly succeed. But we believe the idea behind is still worth something. We had a lot of ups and downs due to the many deadlocks we were facing. The 50:50 equity didn't...
As I said, I used to be a contractor until recently. Its new to me. I thought maybe someone here has been in a similar situation and would be able to help me.
Hi,
I have recently switched to a perm position. As part of the package, there is a private health insurance included.
This is what I received today:
I got in touch with the HR but they weren't clear on that either:
Does it mean this tax benefit would reduce my annual free allowance? Since...
Hi,
I have been trading with my company for few years and have just started a perm role in Oct 2014. My year end finishes on 31/3/2015.
I am no longer trading obviously and no new money is coming into the account. No PAYEE is being paid out and only minimum expenses are paid out. Overall...
Hey everyone,
A friend of mine and I have incorporated an Ltd on 11/07/2013.
And as of 8/1/2014 we started trading and signed up with an accountant (Crunch).
Closing up on our first year, we realised we were too optimistic and it's best to re-think our strategy. We can't afford paying another...
Last year a friend and myself have incorporated an Ltd company with 50:50 shares.
I am just about to fill in my Self Assessment and it is asking me the question:
Were you in a partnership?
Does it mean in am in "partnership" or does that not count for Ltd companies?
Many Thanks for advice...
haha yeeeaah a free mars bar.
But yeah I had setup the online account for real in 2011. As you said, probably they have not tied up my last tax return to my UTR for some reason. I follow this up. Thank you Clare.
hehe yeah I understand. :)
The thing is though I have already submitted one last year for 2011/12. They weren't able to update the system after 12 months? Jesus...
I have send them a 'technical question', let see if they come back to me after 48 hours as promised. :freaky:
1) While filling the SA online, the calculated result came to:
Total tax repayable to you for 2012-13 £266.85
In the actual auto-generated form I can see it being entered like this:
I am expecting a refund of £266.85 correct?
I had a similar case last year, and was never paid by HMRC...
Thanks for the replies.
Yes I have online access to hmrc.co.uk and have just logged in and enrolled for the "PAYE for Employers" service. However they need to send an Activation code until I can access it. Darn.
