For a new in-towner please excuse this plethora of ignorant questions: Unlicensed cabbies - do they quote fixed fares, are they dodgy, or is it OK to use them (I heard someone say they are 'dangerous'?) I assume if you ring to book, this should be OK? And anyone know any OK ones around Canary... -

And totally agree. I went over broadband limit once and it slowed down to a rate that was 'unacceptable'. "I can't take it!!!" scream would be about right. But think how spoilt we are nowadays, sheesh. -
