Is a Rolling Contract Inside or Outside IR35?

Thanks, so does any contractor here have a rolling contractor and is outside IR35?

Is a Rolling Contract Inside or Outside IR35?

What is a monthly rolling contract? I only know that it is a contract with no end date. How likely is it that HMRC argues that it's inside IR35? What would be the impact of rolling contracts on IR35? (I know working practices are the most important but that's not the question). This site says...

I was promised that my contract is to be extended but hasn't yet so what to do now?

Oh dear, sorry to hear you have had such experience and managed to dig for 10,000 years with the hope of reaching Churchill's level and still you were way off where he is. you should be a very hard worker ;)

I was promised that my contract is to be extended but hasn't yet so what to do now?

Just came back from work today and checked my thread to see what experiences others are sharing and noticed Churchill's initiation in quickly misunderstanding, misreading and misjudging has attracted so many stupid and rather funny comments, that deserve best only those who made them, from...

I was promised that my contract is to be extended but hasn't yet so what to do now?

Initially couple of weeks until their main head is back from holiday then to be extended for another 2 months for the current project then possibly extending it longer for another project.

I guess if the rate rise happens 15%+, I would stay; otherwise, I'll find another one in a better sector.

I was promised that my contract is to be extended but hasn't yet so what to do now?

No, I asked for something around 30% rise; not dictating only 30% or I leave. And that will be cut from the agent's share mainly I guess. Remember 30% rate rise, means the client is to pay e.g. 15% rate rise or even less since the agency can cut their margin (I believe they charge the client for...

I was promised that my contract is to be extended but hasn't yet so what to do now?

what's the name of the insurance relevant to this? (personal indemnity insurance shouldn't be related to this?)

I was promised that my contract is to be extended but hasn't yet so what to do now?

It wouldn't be that simple. First month of my contract I worked without signing the contract as we were still negotiating on the terms so it's not sensible to say I can't come on site without a signed contract. at that time, at least I had received a contract and was supposed to be signed at...

I was promised that my contract is to be extended but hasn't yet so what to do now?

My contract ends this week and my manager said they'd like me to stay for few more weeks to complete the work, however, they haven't confirmed it with the agency yet. I asked the agency to contact the client and the agency said he has booked a call with the client for in mid next week to sort...

How to negotiate a rate rise considering my situation?

nice worded. so a more formal and polite approach would work best you think? not threatening them that I may leave otherwise or noting what good things I have done for the client?

How to negotiate a rate rise considering my situation?

The agent said they are on a fixed margin; the more I get the more they get. he could have lied, who knows but don't have evidence to be sure they're lying. I think the best way is to talk to the agent.

How to negotiate a rate rise considering my situation?

I know I should be talking to my agency and I know my peers earn about £400+; the question I asked was how, what to say and when?

How to negotiate a rate rise considering my situation?

a small rate rise that agent can accept?! e.g. £301! I don't think you mean what you wrote.
