Hi All,
Can anyone confirm that Jason Giller, the MD of Veritas Recruitment when it went t*ts-up last year (taking a good chunk of my hard-earned with it ), is the man behind "My-ijob.com" that launched yesterday?

Business Model
You know, all this b*llocks highlights that fact that there's quite a sound business model here.
All you need to do is set yourself up as an agent and trade normally for a while. Then, when you need some extra cash for that new Maserati, or a holiday home...
What's all this about Acumen?
From the "contact us" section of their website you get this:
but when you query Companies House for "Acumen Technical Services Limited" you get this:
What's all that about then?
Pramod's "financial systems" were a joke. It's a bad sign when the client has to phone Veritas to get then to send invoices for contractors, like my current client had to do. The whole point of Veritas was to get those invoices out and keep the money moving around. Having said that, the...

I don't think he went in the end. The majority of the site talks about four drivers, Jason included, but the blog talks about three. I can't see him on the photos either.
Yes, I reckon its "Veritas Recruitment Group" that's gone into administration. Company number 03694134. They're still listed as active on the Companies House website.
Veritas were notoriously bad at invoicing the client I'm currently working for. It was a well known fact amongst the financial controllers that Veritas would have to be chased to send invoices. If left to their own devices they hardly ever do it. That's the reason that some of them started...
They did tell us, but they also advised us to see out the contract then transfer to another agent (that they selected).
The client foisted Veritas on us in the first place so I'm not at all happy with them.
(I've just seen the resourcing manager walk purposefully down the office and into the...
