Thanks for the info.
As I suspected, too much hassle for what it's worth. About to finish up my contract and people telling me to claim what I can etc.
Hi, was wondering if working through a limited company means you should forget altogether about any of these entitlements, especially NI based ones when presumably you will be paying little or no contributions towards this when employed?
Or will it be tricky if they start delving into your...
It is quite difficult to see what employers can gain from employing any non permanent staff for more than a three month period from 1st October. Will employers really check or insist that potential employees are ltd rather than temps?
I assume if my employers are getting jittery about this...
It's all starting to make sense now. We have even been given a possible end date of 30th September!!!
I assume temping and contracting jobs will be very scarce from October too then?
Been with my job for almost six years now,(as a temp/through my own ltd co) and rumours the job is to go within weeks.
Wondering if the length of service entitles me to some sort of redundancy payout if the job goes as I've heard this from a few people, that length of service can almost qualify...
That is the sickest film I've ever seen. Played on my mind for weeks. Obviously the rape scene was bad, but also when that bloke gets his head caved in with the fire extinguisher in the club, the sound of the thudding was absolutely sickening.
Will these really catch on? Awkward size, too big for a phone so can't put it in your pocket, small for a laptop, and much more expensive than a laptop too.
thanks, this is the sort of in depth response I was after.
An under 1% chance of being investigated then, and despite some of the other comments on the thread, I would have thought with the state of the economy, the resources at HMRC and if the Tories come in and abolish IR35 that any backdated...
Also read a few times it's quite likely if the Tories get in that IR35 will be scrapped anyway. So would that also mean the chances of retrospective investigations are virtually non existent?
Forum full of "what if" and "just in case" scenarios for IR35. Yet I don't know of anyone
who runs a Ltd who has encountered any problems. And apart from dragonfly,
haven't seen many (if any) other cases on here either.
Could it also be that the remote chance of getting investigated gets remoter...
I don't claim because I have little to make a valid claim for except my monthly
accountant fees. Have been at the same site over 2 years now so no travel expenses permissable, and I'm fairly sure IR35 will be a problem, thinking of coming out of this soon anyway and going to PAYE for peace of mind.
