Halifax Mortgage Asking for my Name on Contract?

Thanks for the replies. Just checking through my old contracts (I'm now on my third extension). The first contract does state my name on the contract, then none of my extensions mention this, I suspect that's where my recruiter changed parent company and probably used a different contract...

Halifax Mortgage Asking for my Name on Contract?

Hi All, I'm in the middle of a mortgage application for my new house and Halifax have come back with a query about the Contract. They are asking that I contact my recruiter and instead of stating my Companies Name within the Contract that it states my Full Name. Surely the contract is to my LTD...

    Udemy

I’ve used the Cisco ones by chris Bryant which are really good. On par with the cbt nuggets stuff that I had at the time. I also used them for azure... they were average. Never pay full price, always wait for the £10 sales. Which tends to be majority of the time.

Would you give up Contracting for "promotion"?

Thanks for the replies. They want to meet in a few weeks after I said I would only be interested in an architecture position so lets see what they say!

Would you give up Contracting for "promotion"?

I'm currently a infrastructure engineer and have been contracting for nearly a year, I've just been extended until the end of October (end of company year) and have been asked on the side by the hiring manager if I would be interested in a perm role when the extension is finished. Putting the...

    How much was your warchest?

£0 but my girlfriend had around 2 months of my outgoings covered (if I didn’t go out or buy anything). Got my first contract during my notice period of the perm role and they were happy to wait. Just been extended again, currently have cover for about 4 months, but by the end of the new...

Being Ported from One Recruiter to Another

From what I understand, I'm being ported over so behind closed doors I'm sure there would be some sort of payoff.. I wouldn't be breaching a contract.

Being Ported from One Recruiter to Another

Just been contacted about my current gig that I have 3 months remaining on. My current Agency have been booted and a larger organisation is taking over contractors for to get them all under one roof. I've been informed that my day rate wont change and other terms should remain the same (in...

Client asking my Day Rate to work out Recruiter %

I've been asked by my client to provide what my day rate is so they can work out what the current % is they are paying the recruiter. They have told me this is in relation to a review they are doing of their recruiters and that someone has been charged with decreasing the % they are paying...

    Is FreeAgent Right for me?

Thanks for the replies. I didn’t know Natwest offered this, I’ll take a look at them instead of metro. I use a family friend as a accountant, they are a small firm who wouldn’t be able to offer the same as larger firms.

    Is FreeAgent Right for me?

Hi All, I'm about to start trialling Xero but after reading on here that it for more complex business structures I'm not sure if its right for me. The thing that attracted me to Xero was the tie in with Metro Bank, but it seems the trial doesnt work with the auto feed and I have to faff around...

Any Azure Guru's among the forums?

You could do it with the firewalls available on the marketplace. But not sure there is quite the business case for the cost. The cisco ASA-v would do this for example.

Any Azure Guru's among the forums?

We have some sub contractors in a similiar boat connecting to multiple differernt azure subscriptions. (Infact when we had it opened, there was a large number of brute force connections against servers with public IPs) The way we got around it was to setup a Point to Site VPN and they connect...

    Upwork

Found that upwork and other sites was full of professionals from India that would massively undercut what I thought was acceptable and therefore I struggled to get any work. A few contacted me and asked me to match their rate which was around half what I had quoted and wasn’t really worth my time.
