    Leaving inTouch

For some sort of balance, Intouch customer here and no issues seen/still happy with them. I think I'm fairly low maintenance to be fair, but most recent comms around VAT return were all timely and with no need for me to chase anything.

Dividend Tax/Payments on account/company not trading this year

I'm heading back into contracting after a 3 year stint in the wilds of permiedom, and I'm very much glad to see that the traditional PC lazy question/NLUK withering response is still very much ongoing! It's like putting on a pair of your favourite slippers :smokin

Members Voluntary Liquidation Companies - Recommendations?

Positivity bandwagon! Positivity bandwagon! I'm jumping on the bandwagon in praise of MVLOnline! Recently completed mine, and the only flies in the ointment were both HMRC and NatWest (in terms of delays), but both completely out of MVLOnline's hands...their own service was exemplary.

Accountant not sumitted tax return last year or invoiced me for last 5 years

And you weren't concerned about this? Didn't think to query it? Or just hoped you would get the services for free? The head-in-sand approach with one's financial affairs shows wilful negligence on your part.

    MVLOnline - another happy punter

Shameless plug for MVLOnline in helping me liquidate my Ltd Co recently...heard nothing but good things from them on here and happy to say I wasn't disappointed at all. Very painless and transparent so thanks to the guys for sorting me out! I shall refrain from ranting *too* much about...

    SAP Market

You clearly know the market very well, you've really done your research. Well done you. I bow before your clearly extensive knowledge; the real-world situation that I see/know of in an actual real environment is clearly a figment of my imagination.

Jumping ship from the world of permanence

Whilst this was always my expectation of what a contractor should be (back in my permie days), the reality was often quite the opposite and was one of the key reasons why I decided to give up permiedom. Running a team of several contractors as a much lower-paid permie and having do a lot of...

    Bankruptcy

And also pretty damned rich coming from somebody not averse to claiming JSA when in between contracts (yes I get that it's legal/above boardallowed/blah blah but it doesn't sit right with me for a presumably well-renumerated contractor to claim something that is intended for people with genuine...

    renumeration trusts

Ecclestone saved a reputed £1 BILLION in tax with his deal...so in theory, he could still afford to pay out several hundred million quid on legal fees, top notch advice, etc, and still be quids in, as HMRC can't compete with that. Us mere mortals, on the other hand...now there's a different...
