    Business bank maximum daily payments

Payment Limit Increase Payment Limit Increase Just go to the bank and ask to see a business manager. I have a separate business which does imports and the bm actually suggested that I set the limit to 20K which I did on account opening. I then updated the limit on the contracting account

Aston Carter - Delayed payment anyone?

lol its pointless to get in touch with the payment side. my partner had to go through the agent to get the payment sorted out. and only because we had not submitted the latest timesheets. If you are submitting your timesheets faithfully then you can forget getting that call from the payments...

2 up for a Ltd Company

Thank you all for your responses. I am not yet sure that she will stick with contracting so we'll just use the same ltd for the time being and then split if things take us to the lofty heights of the VAT threshold. Thanks once more

    Invoicing/accounting software

I used to use excel for invoice generation but am now using MS Accounting and I find it more convenient now and you can change the layout for the print out quite easily or have many templates.

I had PI and public insurance from Hiscox but this year I went for the products coming through Iprofile because they were 50% cheaper. I started contracting 2 years ago and all my contracts mentioned that I needed to have PI insurance.

get the redgate database script compare tool, that will save you a lot of headaches. create a sandbox on your machine if not possible to get one from the db, I am assuming you can install a sql developer edition on your machine

    What to do, can't decide!

1 bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush. work with what you have agreed at the decision making time. If the guys for the longer contract give you a written undertaking then u can move there.
