    Mobile Phone Through Limited Company

I'm a client and I must've missed that. I've been waiting to sign up on a new deal in my company name rather than transferring my existing one. Hmmm... will have to re-read the starter pack.

PI Insurance for Investment Banking contractors

Hey Alan Thx for that. I filled out the quote on their site and I'm getting £100k PI, £1m PL and £10k for £160/year... read the T's & C's and there are no exclusions about working on trading systems that I could find.

    DisHonest Practice

I came over here from Oz last year and am nearing the end of my first contract. Certainly started cottoning on to the unethical tactics being used by agents while hunting for my first gig, and am dismayed to hear that these tactics are widespread... However, I've got nothing but praise for my...

    Contractor & Insurance

According to the quote Dallas Kirkland provided me online, £10k of ELI is thrown in free with my policy. I'm getting £100k PI, £1m PL and £10k for £160/year. Raising the PI to £250k ups the premium to around £220/year. I didn't experiment with £1m and £2m cover. http://www.dallaskirkland.co.uk

PI Insurance for Investment Banking contractors

Think we all back ourselves not to need it, otherwise we wouldn't have the b@llz to go out and contract in the first place. Unfortunately it's mandatory for some of us, plus there's always that 0.0001% chance... Anyway, been given a tip by a colleague for the company thru which he gets his...

    PCG Insurance

I will indeed ask RD for a re-quote as a PCG member, good suggestion. I'm just bemused by your attitude. It seems you have much knowledge to offer, but it always seems to be done begrudgingly and with a know-all undertone. If you want the greater good for the contracting community, you may wish...

    PCG Insurance

Of course I'll have access to the member benefits if I'm a paid member, but the intent of the question was whether there's an excess applied to policies for people working on trading systems. I was hoping you or someone else already a member might be able to advise me of that. Errrrr what does...

PI Insurance for Investment Banking contractors

Most PI insurance policies I've been given quotes for, make you pay an enormous premium for working on live trading systems. I work in the investment banking sector but don't CURRENTLY work on a live trading system. However that may change soon, so I would prefer to cover myself for that...

    PCG Insurance

Does the PI insurance PCG provide cover to contractors who work on live trading systems? I notice that Randell Dorling's doesn't. Even though there are some nice benefits of PCG membership, I don't want to plough in and pay for membership only to find out I don't have access to their insurance...

    Aston Carter

I've had a good experience with Aston Carter to be totally honest, but I blv that's because of the guy I'm directly dealing with, Dan Shaw, is good and always goes a bit beyond his call of duty. A colleague has had a bad experience with another one of their guys, who I also didn't like when I...

    PI Insurance Advice

I will look into joining PCG, thanks for the tip. As for whether I should take out insurance or not, do most of you only take out individual cover if the client mandates it? I am currently contracted through an umbrella company (administered by Churchill Knight) until my HSMP visa comes...

    PI Insurance Advice

Hi and congrats on a great site I've come over from Australia and have now landed my first contract, starting on Monday. The info I've dug up so far indicates that I should take out some PI cover, particularly as I'm doing sole redevelopment on a fairly critical component of the company's...
