Well After thinking about this overnight I think this contract is too much of a risk in my eyes
Looking at the post about the contract http://forums.contractoruk.com/business-contracts/91958-hays-contract-psctoasr_02-12-a.html
I think there are too many things adding up to make this not worth...
That's weird, in the 8-9 years contracting I have never had to present my Passport or proof of address in person, I have the documents scanned in ready to email across when required...... either 99% of agency's are braking the rules or something is not working!
Hi
I have been to a NHS client and they want me to start on Monday. :happy Cool! But it's through Hays and after reading up about the BET's questionnaire and Hay's contracts being not very IR35 friendly I am having even more problems.
They have sent me a zip file full of forms to fill in...
Had a call this morning about a gig in Reading, fast talking chap from India I think, but the weirdest convesation about a contract.
Can you do this, this and this=== yes
You ok with a 6-12 month contract ===yes
Rate is 200 per day=== no to low, got him to go way above this in the end!
Didnt...
FTW The agency said they should have had feedback on Friday, I heard nothing. I just got a call from them and the allocation of CV's the client co want have been filled.
They said another agency must have filled the places.... all the slacking around arguing about getting references probably...
Hi All (sorry about wall of text)
I was wondering anyone else has had this problem. I have recently join the bench and obviously keen to jump off asap. It seems there are quite a few roles suitable around but realise there is alot of competition out there.
I have come across 2 roles that...
Ok A "slight" deviation on the possible combinations of who wil be going out.
I as the Director want to take my Partner (who is not an employee past/present ie she's nothing to do with my LTD co apart from spending my divi's)
My Brother who happens to be the company secretary (but not employed...
I was due to have an interview there a few weeks ago, (call came out of the blue from agency after an initial call 2 months earlier).
The wanted to interview me the next day... I wasn't available..
I asked if they could kindly change the day to perhaps the day later or any time they could...
Thanks for your thoughts all, I personally don't mind helping out with the weekend working if it helps the project but giving up my weekend I think should be as an extra day of income (being nice not invoicing x2 time).
The weekend is the only time I have to spend with girlfriend as she works...
Thanks, I thought that a "new" contract would have to be drawn up etc.
One thing I have noticed looking at the contract I last signed it says in a section headed:
Specified hours/days per week:
"37.5 hours To be agreed locally with the Client Representative"
Does this open me up to whatever...
I hope someone might have an idea on how to handle this situtaion.
I had been working at client for 5 months with 2 renewals as a Wintel BAU Support person.
They then offered a renewal being part of a Datacentre move team and have extended a 6 month contract until end of March 09.
At the time...
My first post so please be gentle :happy
I have been on my current gig for 5 months (renewed at 3 months).
The role was "ok" but very quiet up till xmas so with promises of more projects comming I renewed.
I signed the same worded contract as before.
It turns out that I have pretty much no...
