What?? when did i say i wanted anything from britain trust me thats the last thing i or any indian living here wants.. the stats from this documentary prove that. I wish you would stop trying to imply that... just because someone has a different view on the raj to you doesnt mean they have a...
The caste system was not the fault of the Brits, but that didn't stop them from taking advantage of it:

Please... divide and rule is a well documented "technique" the British used. What about the fact that the British appointed some dude who had no clue on India to decide where the separation line should be. Of course, I guess that is also the fault of the Indians...
Listen, I'm sure there were...
I guess thats another thing India should be thankful of.. the fantastic way Britain handled its exit strategy from India! 1 million dead.. divide and rule.. all great legacy's of the Raj. Thanks! Please add that to your list too.
Lets not forget, this was a mere 60 years ago!.. So back to my...

I really don't think we want to go down the path of arguing over invasions do we?.. not with Britain's past... if you still want to, maybe we can list the countries Britain has invaded vs. the ones that India or "Hindus" have.. and also, lets list the number of people killed.

Forget about me thanking you, maybe you should thank India for the enormous...
I'm not sure if your comments are directed towards India or not, but if they are I suggest you take a look back into the history of India. Going back to the Indus Valley civilization and for a long period until the Mughal invasions, there was no conflict or war or mutual slavery to speak of...
"India's cotton-processing sector gradually declined during British expansion in India and the establishment of colonial rule during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. This was largely due to the East India Company's de-industrialization of India, which forced the closing of cotton...
Places like Manchester became rich in the industrial revolution on the backs of Indian cities, the British raised taxes on cotton produced in India which resulted in the whole textile industry collapsing.
"The ratio of people to cake is too big."
One of my favorite films of all time. While I was working in the states.. we used to quote lines from it all day long.. its a cult film over there.
Hopefully it will catch on here in the UK.
A must see for anyone working in IT.
Now.. where did that I...
I highly recommend syncfusion. Great products (especially their grid control) and great support.
Apparently the guy who developed the syncfusion grid was an ex-MS guy who was a lead-dev on the Excel project.
