What the hell do you do to escape? I'm looking for something other than electronics which is slowly moving to sitting on the computer all evening as well as all day.

Diving - gets you out of the house at the weekend, an excuse to go to some of the most beautiful places on earth, generally decent people.

    Oh and booze aswell

How about a nice game of Dungeons & Dragons with some like minded friends and a good supply of fine beer to hand?

Rebuilding my house, riding my motorbike and kite boarding/buggying. Skiing when I get the chance which was all winter when I lived in Munich. Sometimes cooking.

I used to dive before I became asthmatic and used to fly fish, including tying my own flies but never seem to get the chance these days.

Anything that is totally absorbing is good particularly if it is outdoors and physical. I am told gardening is great but I just cant get into it.

I grow orchids, occasionally go collecting (but not so much now I'm getting on a bit), and make watches (grand complications).
