How on earth can you come up with a 2 significant digit figure for a bug fix comlpletion, like "76% fixed"?

(What is going through my head now is: "any developer with enough confidence in their own ability to blag a made up %age like that, is probably about right" and I'd mark task "debug" down as 61% complete accordingly.)

It is called "getting drunk and staying that way". Note the "staying that way" part: that is VERY important.
