He works in health and safety. they have taken on lots of new people. alot of new year maintenance. and worse still they are having a full power down test this weekend. They got him a hotel FRiday/Sat night - but he still has to work Fri morning to Sunday afternoon - then be in MOnday for debrief...

I told him to throw a sickie - 5 days self-certified up to max of 20 per year
