The official Commando Comics Twitter account has posted a list of all the issues my Dad wrote for them!

https://x.com/commandocomic/status/1823007708234027292?s=61

• JUNGLE ACE
• ZERO BASHER
• TRAIL OF A HERO
• GHOST SERGEANT
• HAMMER OF THE JPS
• BIG JOE
• TOP GUNNER
• CARSON'S PRIVATE ARMY
• KELLY'S ARMY
• MAN OF IRON
• WINGS OF WAR
• CANNONBALL CASEY
• RIVER OF DEATH

Turns out I've still got two of them, Jungle Ace from 1964 (missing its cover) and Man of Iron from 1968

That's exceptionally cool!

As all the bed linen dried, it can go straight back on the bed. Which reminds me, I really ought to make the bed...

That's exceptionally cool!

I know!

The only telly tonight was an old Police Interceptors and it turned out I'd seen that one before too, so I hope they start making some new ones soon

Warm night, but the weather's going to be a bit more sensible about it for the rest of the week

Goodnight all

I know!

Calm down Liz Truss.

Morning denizens

Sunny start but with cloud that's expected to increase, and it's also expected to be a bit cooler today: currently 15°C, not getting any worse than 24°. The barometers are steady at 997/1005mB

Morning all
10C when we went out for our perambulation, which may also explain the better night's sleep.
Nice aurora last night, and a few meteor trails thrown in for good measure.

Wanly sunny.

Meanwhile on the 1st of November 2019 it was dark & raining on LM, there was more discussion of "I, Claudius" (I still have neither read it nor watched the box set), but I did score a zen chury.

Morning all

Sunny with high level fluff. Currently 19 degrees with a high of 27 expected. Barometer up a snifter to 1008 mBar.

I managed to lose my shopping list yesterday (as in, I know I accidentally chucked it in the bin with real rubbish) and I can't remember all that was on it so that must mean I didn't need it all. In checking the prices of what I do remember needing, I can see that Waitrose has some of the more awkward to get home items on at the same price as Morrisons so I think I'll pop there for those, as it's only 15 mins walk away, and then get the bus to Morrisons for the rest.

Tanqueray 10 is also on offer at Waitrose. I don't "need" that but it's rude to not buy it when it's under £30. They seem to have taken over that offer from Sainsbury's.

Lunch has been the last bits of the BBQ beef from Friday

Still sunny out
