You certainly don't seem to. I didn't say I don't like the joke (although it's crap) I said you were ripping it off as your own.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishing -
Nope. And the point is, holding a stupid poster of something which is supposed to be typed in on a computer in the first place, is not going to bring them back.Originally posted by Unix View PostI'm sure if it was the OP family member/close friend missing he would be tweeting and using any method of publicity to try and help find them.

That is a fact and not something I've denied. Amazing as it may seem to you - many jokes are not original.Originally posted by d000hg View PostI said you were ripping it off as your own.
You actually said more than that though. You said it was insulting, nonsensical and made an accusation of perennial spitefulness. Ho hum.Comment

And your meant to be a Christian? No wonder religion is dying out!Originally posted by d000hg View PostNope. And the point is, holding a stupid poster of something which is supposed to be typed in on a computer in the first place, is not going to bring them back.

No, I later said you were insulting, nonsensical and perennially spiteful (nice phrase by the way). I stand by thatOriginally posted by oracleslave View PostThat is a fact and not something I've denied. Amazing as it may seem to you - many jokes are not original.

If Christianity were about trying to selfishly manipulate the media to strong-arm rescue forces to prioritise your loved ones rather than use their professional expertise, you'd have a point.Originally posted by Unix View PostAnd your meant to be a Christian? No wonder religion is dying out!
Turning it around, how would you feel if YOUR family members went missing next month and you were told "sorry, we spent all our budget fruitlessly looking for that other lot, since they got such a good twitter following"?Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

If that's your opinion, that's fine. I don't see anything in this thread or any other currently on the board that warrants that view but I am not going to argue ( as you appear to want to) over it.Originally posted by d000hg View PostNo, I later said you were insulting, nonsensical and perennially spiteful (nice phrase by the way). Needs a reboot.

If it was a member of your family you would do the same.
Its like me being against the death penalty. Except for someone who harms my family. Then I want a slow, painful one.Comment

As I said, I would not. If there were meaningful things to be done then yes, but latching onto narcissistic memes is not meaningful. It brings to mind that saying about prayer by non-believers... "How to do nothing and still think you're helping". Snapping a silly photo with apiece of paper lets people assuage themselves of low-level guilt.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostIf it was a member of your family you would do the same.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
