A very dull interviewer who appears to think himself very clever. You could research and do the same hatchet job to any politician and no doubt to the interviewer himself. Tedious. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions! -
I listened to it for him and them explained 25% of it to him.Originally posted by SueEllen View PostDid you listen to the full interview? Or did you just comment because I mentioned Nigel Farage was a dumbass? The material prosperity of a nation is not an abiding possession; the deeds of its people are.

And another Ad Hominem!Originally posted by vetran View PostYou mean James 'Lefty' O'Brien who talked over the interviewee, interrupted or used tone of voice to express disbelief as Farage tried to speak?
Yes heard it, there was an ambush!
Right now it's 2-1 to the CUKIP team. (1 ad hominem and 1 straw man to CUKIP and 1 Ad hominem to the CUK Herman van Rompuy Fund contractors)And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

Do you know what wrong means? It's like when you find a contractor for a gig, and he goes direct with the client leaving you nothing, if that helps give a frame of reference.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostAnd what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? The material prosperity of a nation is not an abiding possession; the deeds of its people are.

quite probably.Originally posted by SueEllen View PostWhy did the ex-political editor of the Express have to interrupt when O'Brien asked about expenses?
Was he worried that people were going to work out that UKIP MEPs not only Farrage, though he has some excuse, can't be bothered to turn up and vote? They can cast an abstention-vote.
Its one of the avenues of attack being used against UKIP.
not unknown for the spin Doctors to do this :
