Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent. -
Smacks of desperation from the DT if that's the best they can do.
DT I'm with you on nailing Salmond on anything you can, but showing a picture of the suite he stayed in has finally made me feel some sympathy for Salmond - how could you do it? Look, he's the FM and he shouldn't be staying in a B&B, This suite looks posh but not chandelier and swags a la pompadour posh. Get him to own up to the cost by all means but I don't think he overdid it here, if it were David Cameron I wouldn't want him staying in a 3 star hotel, I'd expect him to stay somewhere grand though maybe be more subtle about it and be put up by "friends" on a local ranch or something for part of the time. Give it up."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark Twain -
There's a big difference between a B&B the levels of opulence shown in those pics. The mental image of him standing up in that bath will haunt me for life though

He's not head of a government; he's head of a regional council.Originally posted by Unix View PostHe is the head of a government, do you think Cameron stays at Holiday Inn when he is abroad? Nothing to see here.

he was watching a Golf game not discussing the Annexation of the Shetland Isles Putin Stylee. He should pay for himself or at least have the decency to be open about it.Originally posted by Unix View PostHe is the head of a government, do you think Cameron stays at Holiday Inn when he is abroad? According to the article he never was in a room like this. To use their own words 'an example'.Originally posted by administrator View PostThere's a big difference between a B&B the levels of opulence shown in those pics. The campaign is lost for sure now. Forget about MP's fraudulently claiming £50k. This barsteward is really taking the sloshy."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment
