      Based on the assumption that a quarter of the bank's customers make payments or access their accounts in some way every hour, the number of those affected was likely to be in the millions.
      That seems like a fairly wild assumption. Unless confidence amongst their customers is that low that they all feel the need to check their balance every few hours?
