It's a bit much when they try and tie your windows 8 login to a M$ account at every opportunity. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.' -

Ok, being scroggled is not nice.
But have they considered how people feel when having to pay them for CALs and crazy per-core licenses?

Paying for software is fine.Originally posted by CheeseSlice View PostPay for software? that is an outrage!
What's not fine is when there is a microblade server hardware that costs $500, but server OS for it is at least $800 (MSFT Server Standard). There isn't even a question whether to use Microsoft software on those and for large boxes they are now switching to per core pricing (SQL Server, Exchange etc).
All that is pushing their long time customers (used Microsoft since MS DOS 3.0 days) to Linux/Java.Comment

I don't think they are desperate, profits are up and they are heading into 2014 very, very strongly.
I think it is a valid point and one they have every right putting across as I am sure most people using gmail don't have a clue this is going on.
Of course they have failed to tie up the term with the pig latin adverts on TV which is a fail.Comment
