Because if he feels this way almost every contract and if it's always the fault of those around him, and if he is often afflicted with illnesses, maybe he needs to change himself, not his contract.

Organisations can be dysfunctional. Colleagues can be a bit crap. Projects are difficult. Contractors are often brought in because the environment is difficult.

I am sure suity has many admirable qualities: he seems like a nice chap; he wants to do a good job; he may well be highly competent in his discipline. But we have to be able to cope with difficult environments. Maybe taking up meditation or mindfulness might help.

You need to have mental toughness in this game not marshmallow madness.

I feel for you Suity - although we have a different problem

I got invited to a solution design board meeting - there are 25 people in that meeting - so nothing is ever going to get designed!

oh and then we have the situation where we did agree something only for that to be over turned and no one was told

so a waste of time and air
