I'm a normal enough size, and actually managed to lose some weight this year - the issue is with the idea that some stores seem to have, that suits should be suitable for stick-thin, anaemic *******, who want "fashion" suits, rather than business suits.
There was some "documentary" a while back about some journalist who had never worn a suit and was going to try a few out. He loved the idea of trousers with about 3 inch diameter legs and a jacket that would fit a lamp post well. I, however, do not.
