Is it the leaning chimney of piza?

No, but we don't know if the chimney starts at ground level or if it is on top of a building and whether the camera taking the photo is level with the base of either the base or the top of the chimney as if it is not it won't be a right-angle triangle.

True, maybe the OP could let us know more details.

If you know the height the chimney starts from, and its height, not an issue.
            Hard Brexit now!

I think we should ask the OP what level of accuracy he requires...

A degree of accuracy that won't lead to my montage not being laughed out of the public consultation I guess.

The montage photo was taken from a point 90 metres below the base of the chimney.

The main purpose of the pic is to assess whether or not the chimney will be visible from the place the photo was taken.

So was the height you mentioned earlier the height from ground to top, or height from base of chimney to top? Either way you can easily calculate the hypotenuse and then have all 3 sides of the triangle. You can then scale one side down keeping the ratio the same.

Ok, have you still got the camera used to take the picture of the chimney and a copy of "povray"?

No. I didn't take the pic as I'm away from home. I just have the pic and all the coordinates. The chimney doesn't exist as yet.
