So if I want buy and sell in the short term is there any advantage of an ISA or would the 'Fund and Share Account' be more suitable?
If you will be under your ISA allowance for the year stick it in there

Mods can you add a poll please:
      • Buy and keep for the long term (years)
      • Buy and keep for the medium term (months)
      • Buy and try and make a quick profit (days)
      • Too risky staying away
      • Andyw's mum delivers the only thing I need

Dunno - if there's a massive profit quickly, it will be tempting to sell. If not, will hang on and see out it pans out.

              Some newbie advice required please.

What are the implications of this flotation being oversubscribed?

              Higher share price?
Restriction on how many you can buy?
              People missing out altogether?

The share price will be at the high end and they will give people the minimum amount of shares.

WSS plus you will also me limited in the amount you get, consensus of opinion is anyone bidding for rge minimum £750 will get that, above that it will be on a proportional basis, I have bid for £5k but don't expect to get them all

I've ordered £5K worth within my ISA.

I'm going for a quick buck.

Have put in for a quarter of a million, but don't expect to get all of them. Hopefully half.
