Yeah. Cos the Japanese & Chinese are clearly incapable of mechanical engineering, especially on small scales. A mate of mine did a one day horology class. A day well spent with magnifying glasses and little screwdrivers but came away with a unique timepiece he'd assembled himself.

I’ve had the same wind-up Omega for over 40 years and it is still accurate and is in daily use. The value has increased tremendously.
