Lol - fond memories, absolute torture.

After I came back from the Christmas holiday it had stopped processing any player who's number was a single digit. No one could explain why!

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Don't remember the first thing I wrote but I do remember a couple of things.

              1. Dr Watson Compiler on the Commodore 64, writing some sprite program with it but it was too fast to be of any use.

              2. Commodore Horizons magazine from where I used to spend hours typing in small BASIC loaders with immense hex dumps that got processed and "POKEd" into memory.
Remember one time being gutted when I had spent a couple of hours typing in the hex and ran the app without saving it, it promptly crashed and rebooted, all that work down the pan.

              3. Colour codes in strings in Commodore basic.

Something to print out powers of 2 on a VIC-20.

My school had BBCs and ZX81s but I was too young to be allowed to use them.

Not long after that my dad bought us a spectrum, and that is more or less why I do what I do today.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I dabbled for a while before knocking up a game called Jet Set Willy and then Manic Miner on the spectrum. Piece of piss really.
