That's not her fault though. I would expect the insurer to pay and to sue the car wash, who may run into their own insurance issues if the worker was illegal.

If only things were that straight forward. I have a 6+ month claim going on between my car and a BMW, where the other insurance company took 4 months to send a claims notice to my insurance company, and supplied black and white pics. So my insurance company asked for colour pictures, and its been 2 months
The claim value is north of £400 if it's decided to be completely my fault, though in reality it's 50-50 at best. The sad part is that I end up losing NCB, until the insurance companies sort things out.
